Founded with the vision of bringing London’s dining standards to Surrey, the business draws on a passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating relaxed, memorable, dining experiences. Our beautiful restaurants showcase high-quality British steaks paired with the finest British wines, spirits, and cocktails - all crafter with flair by our talented, creative teams.

What we do

We are dedicated to delivering premium British ingredients paired with first-class service, all within a relaxed and welcoming environment. Our exceptional restaurants embody our core values - to bring a bold and energetic concept of life. This passion shines through everything we do, whether it’s dry-aging our own steaks, home-smoking our salmon, or barrel-ageing spirits while handcrafting innovative cocktails. Our high-quality British steaks are cooked over fire on Robata grills and finished with our signature Wagyu basting for a truly unforgettable flavour.

Our journey so far

2014: Rarebreed Dining was founded.

2015: We open our first restaurant, The Plough Inn in Cobham.

2016: Refurbishment and expansion work began on our second restaurant, The Shurlock, near Twyford, which opened in 2017.

2017: We acquired, refurbished, and opened The Corn Stores in Reading, a stunning four-story restaurant with two bars.

2019: We extended and refurbished our fourth restaurant, The Waverley in Weybridge adding a new dining room, terrace, and office space.

2023: We made the difficult but necessary decision to close the Corn Stores, allowing us to focus on growing the brand with venues aligned to our successful three-site model
